Dunure Sunset
Although it has been a ruin for at least three hundred years, Dunure Castle was once the main fortress of the powerful Kennedy family, the Earls of Cassilis. Today the Kennedys are much more closely associated with Culzean Castle, less than four miles down the coast, but for several centuries from the 1200s, Dunure Castle was by far the more important of the two. The oriiginal oil painting as 12 x 12 inches on canvas with rich thick oil paint giving the painting life and texture making the art come to life.
Port Patrick
Port Patrick Red Coat although the second in this location and with the same model the painting has still done well and was very popular. The monotone art is still popular and will always feature as the main part of my work. I have also been working on the print side of things and have created a few prints worth looking at in "Lifestyle Art" section of the site .
