The fall of Eden.  In a single act the world changes forever the safety and security she enjoyed is destroyed in one single act.  Being blindfolded to make sure you don't see the chaos that is created she carelessly throws away everything that makes life good for a life of perpetual hardship and inflicting untold harm on others simply because she didn't look any further than the single act of destruction.
